Live.Me Livestreaming App Adds New Video Feature Called "Shorts"

Live.Me continues to grow in popularity each day, as so many of our favorite celebrities begin using it, such as The Fast and Furious‘ Chad Lindberg or YouTube’s Matthew Santoro. The app is definitely one of our favorites as well, as it allows users to become instant broadcasters. Apart from livestreaming, the app has officially added a new feature called “shorts.”

What are “shorts?”

Live.Me’s has now added the ability to record short video clips called “shorts.” The videos can be anywhere from 7 to 17 seconds long. Users can also choose from a variety of effects to include in their videos, such as stickers, filters, and voice-changing effects.

What makes it different than livestreaming?

Live.Me was originally created as a livestreaming app, but with the new features, broadcasters can connect with their audiences without going live. The ability to record and upload short videos is reminiscent of Vine.

Get started today and join the #SuperSummerShorts contest which will run until June 6th. The context will feature huge prizes to the creators making the best Shorts.

“We’ve heard from creators that they like the short video format which compliments live video and so we’re filling that need. We’re excited to see how they get creative with all the functions and features we have coming.”

Another feature that the app has added is the ability to Game Broadcast, which can display mobile games on the phone or can be connected to a computer or game console using open broadcast software to play video games for Live.me fans.
