Paige VanZant, the professional fighter, has never been afraid to show off her fit figure. She has posted several swimsuit photos on Instagram. In her most recent swimsuit post, VanZant took a boat trip with her best friend. The two posed in matching black bathing suits, and took a bunch of photos. For VanZant, fitness is all about variety. She says that she does a lot of different types of exercises. "Every day is different, it depends on what day of the week it is," VanZant tells Vogue. "We have lots of classes, wrestling, jujitsu. I do a lot of Pilates, yoga, CrossFit as well. I also try to include one relaxing workout through the week like hiking."
Being a professional athlete, VanZant has to stay in shape most of the time. She says that she works out on a regular basis, at least once a day. "I, of course, have a very strict workout regimen," she says to Women Fitness. "I'm in the gym every day twice a day. Since I have switched over to professional boxing my schedule consists of boxing every day, sometimes twice a day. And strength and conditioning three days a week."
VanZant also has to eat healthy, in order to be ready for a match. She tells Women Fitness that she likes to make a lot of her own meals. "My husband and I love cooking and we really enjoy making healthy meals together. I like to think of myself as a chef and have competed on many cooking shows."
While VanZant does eat healthy most of the time, she also doesn't restrict herself too much. She tells Women Fitness that she does have cheat days once in a while, usually after a big fight. "We, of course, have our occasional cheat day here and there. But once we have a flight scheduled it's down to business. Then after we fight we go a little bit crazy and eat everything in sight."
VanZant has a busy schedule, but she always makes time to relax. She broke down her favorite self-care habits to Women Fitness. "Hair masks and face masks are a very frequent part of my week. I love to rest in between practices or after a long day of training with a hair mask, a face mask, and a glass of wine. I can even get my husband to do a facemask here and there. Kick butt in the gym, relax, pamper and love everywhere else's."
